For New Machinery
Technical File Verification (Internal Production Control) applies to machinery and equipment products not listed in Annex IV of Directive 2006/42/EC, provided the organization opts for this certification procedure.
A Certificate of Conformity is issued if, upon verification, the Technical File is found to comply with Annex VII of Directive 2006/42/EC.
For Existing (Old) Machinery
Technical File Verification is conducted for machinery and equipment made available for the first time to workers in an organization on or before December 31, 2006, to demonstrate continued compliance with the minimum requirements specified in Annex I of Directive 2009/104/EC, which replaced Directive 89/655/EEC concerning minimum safety and health requirements for the use of work equipment by workers at work, transposed into Romanian legislation by Government Decision no. 1146/2006.
