SRAC, notified certification body for 2006/42/EC, Machinery Directive

Starting August 2014, SRAC is certification body notified at the European Commission (NB 2003) for directive 2006/42/EC.
SRAC performs certification for the application of CE marking for industrial machinery in compliance with the provisions of Directive Machinery 2006/42/EC (adopted through HG 1029/2008), Module “Full Quality Assurance”.

The certification is performed in compliance with SR EN ISO/CEI 17021:2011 ” Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems”, and EA-2/17 „ Guidance on the horizontal requirements for the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies for notification purposes”.

The certification process verifies the compliance with the provisions of the harmonized standards related to machinery directive and applicable to the product that is subject of certification.
