SRAC accredited by RENAR on the verification of GHG reports

In order to fulfill the Kyoto Protocol commitments, European Union introduced the European emission trading system, a mechanism based on commercial principles meant to encourage the reduction of emissions (GHG) in an efficient technical and economical manner.

Monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), in accordance with the harmonized requirements laid down in COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 601/2012 and they shall be complete, consistent, transparent and accurate for the effective operation of the greenhouse gas emission allowance trading scheme established pursuant to Directive 2003/87/EC.

SRAC offers to its clients that are interested about environment protection, a new product: Verification of GHG Reports.

In December 2013, SRAC obtained, from RENAR, the accreditation certificate on the verification of greenhouse gas emission reports and tonne – kilometre reports in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 600/2012. (See certificate no. OV 006 and its Annex on www.srac.ro/acreditari).
