On June 14, 2023, Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 on machinery came into force, repealing Directive 2006/42/EC. The Regulation will apply in full from January 20, 2027, and the current period represents an important transition phase for certified organizations.
To support customers and partners, SRAC has developed a policy dedicated to this transition, which has the following objectives:

conducting a GAP analysis to identify new developments and necessary measures;

reviewing technical files and declarations of conformity;

updating internal processes and training staff;

clear and constant communication with certified organizations;

preparation of the transition audit, which will be carried out as part of the supervisory activities following notification.
SRAC will conduct certification audits in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, ensuring that the transition process is conducted transparently, professionally, and with ongoing support for customers.
