Waste management: EU Reg. no. 333/2011, 715/2013 and 1179/2012

The European Union considers that, following implementation of some specific criteria/procedures, the metal and aluminum scraps, copper scraps and glass culets can become pure enough to comply with the requirements of the producing industries standards.  Given this context, have been drawn up and approved the EU Regulations no. 333/2011, 715/2013 and1179/2012 that contain specific criteria/procedures for  the metal and aluminum scraps , copper scraps and glass culets to become non-waste.

The waste producer is forced through these regulations to offer a conformity statement in the situation he chooses to sell non-waste.
In compliance with the abovementioned regulations, this conformity statement can be issued if there is a quality management system certified by an accredited body in compliance with these regulations or accredited as EMAS verifier.
